The exhibition »flora - When Roots Grow Wonders« invites you to see the fascinating medicinal plant knowledge of the Middle Ages with new eyes – visually, artistically, and medially staged by students of Mainz University of Applied Sciences.

Starting from the »Gart der Gesundheit« (Garden of Health) from 1485, an influential German-language compendium on medicinal plants, as well as other exhibits from the Gutenberg Museum and the Natural History Museum in Mainz, an inspiring dialogue unfolds about the multifaceted connection between humans and plants – yesterday and today.
